This exciting project was commissioned by Sport England, in partnership with the Outdoor Industries Association, to examine the demand and supply of outdoor provision and take an in-depth look at the profile of the outdoor consumer.
I joined Kelly Gordon of KG Sport, working for Andrew Denton of the OIA, to write and publish “Getting Active Outdoors”. This 130 page report describes our study of demography, motivation, participation and provision in Outdoor Sport and Recreation in England.
The report was launched by Jennie Price (CEO of Sport England) in Hyde Park in June 2015, and has been followed with a series of workshops around the country for the key executive and strategic decision makers in the outdoor sector.
